Race for the Cure This Sunday - AURARIA PARKWAY WILL BE CLOSED FOR RACE FOR THE CURE. Enter the Tivoli parking lot from the south side by turning onto 7th from Colfax.

Online Giving - Guess who finally joined the 21st century... yes, online giving is now available through the website. You can give electronically via credit card, checking account, or PayPal account. Just click on the "Donate" tab.

School Supply Drive - Remember to bring school supplies to donate to Nepalese children this week. Connor Catron will be collecting pens, pencils, scissors, tape, notebooks, markers, paints and brushes on Sunday to deliver to a school in Katmandu. You can also write a check and Connor will buy some supplies for the kids on your behalf. Make checks out to "Andy Catron" with "Nepal" in the memo line.

Wednesday Night at Frankie's! - Are you in Junior High or High School?? If so, you're invited to "Wednesday Night at Frankie's!" aka City Pres' Youth Group!! We meet every Wednesday night at the Schaeffer House (1818 E. 29th Ave Denver CO 80205) from 7 to 9 pm. Come have loads of fun, eat yummy food and discuss some interesting ideas with us! Questions? Sunday School Classes are back! Classes will be held in the MultiCultural Lounge from 9:15-10:15 am. There are two Adult Education Classes to choose from:

Living in Light of the Gospel

People in Christian circles always talk about the gospel being the good news of Christ and foundational to the abundant life, but what do we mean when we use that phrase? Is it really "good news" or is it just a list of rules to keep? Is it really foundational, or just a milestone we pass as we learn more about God? Whether you are just beginning to investigate the claims the gospel makes or if you have experienced over and over the freedom these claims offer this course is for you! Join us as we consider how the news that we are more flawed than we ever dare to believe and more accepted than we ever dared to hope can intersect our life afresh today, tomorrow, and for all eternity.

Working at Theology
(Taught by John Yates)
Ever wonder about the ins and outs of this word we call theology? Has the word ever seemed a bit stuffy and only for intellectual folk? In this course we will investigate this practice of "studying God" and how is connects with our everyday life. Ephesians 1, Hebrews 1 and John 4 will help frame the conversations as we look at how to think about God, how to examine our beliefs, how to develop the thoughtful side of faith. Throughout we will present thoughts to consider, material for discussion, and resources for further work. Come join us as we seek to discover the riches of worshipping God with our minds.
